Vilarnau Cava is made in a state of the art winery, with sleek minimalist design. The estate lies at 250 metres above sea level, enjoying a Mediterranean climate. Shielded by the Montserrat Mountains to the north and the Littoral range to the south.

The winery is located close to the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. Specialising in the production of high quality cavas, the winery shares its innovative, creative and dynamic nature with Spain’s most avant-garde city.

Vilarnau Brut

Bright pale straw colour with a steadily rising stream of fine bubbles. Pronounced appley fruit with a great balance between ripe fruit and delicate acidity. Produced from a blend of Macabeo, Parellada and Chardonnay which are fermented separately 
before blending, bottling and ageing for 2 years. 
Available in 75cl and Magnum.

Vilarnau Brut Nature Reserva

Macabeo, Parellada and Chardonnay grapes are picked and vinified before blending and bottling for the second fermentation. The bottles are then aged for 30 months in temperature controlled cellars before disgorgement. Pale yellow in colour with green lights 
and a fine mousse. Pronounced apple and pear fruit aromas 
are followed by toasty bread notes on the long, well 
balanced, extra dry palate.

Vilarnau Gran Reserva Brut Vintage

Made from Macabeo, Parellada and Chardonnay, and aged for a minimum of 3 years before disgorgement, this is superb cava – rich, toasty and full flavoured, with fantastic length and balance. Brilliant yellow in colour, with deep clean fruit aromas and hints of vanilla and a mature yet crisp finish.

Vilarnau Brut Rosé

Trepat and Pinot Noir grapes give this delicious pink fizz a bright redcurrant colour, and vibrant ripe strawberry and raspberry fruit characters. Aged for 18 months prior to disgorgement, it is soft and juicy in character with refreshing 
balanced acidity – the perfect aperitif.

Vilarnau Demi Sec

Bright, pale straw yellow with a fine mousse of bubbles, this slightly sweet fizz is delicately flavoured with fresh citrus and apple flavours and a refreshing balancing acidity. Made from Parellada and Macabeo and aged for 12 months.
