This unclarified and unfiltered super fresh Fino is loved by many for its unique, fresh from the cask experience. En Rama is alive with flavour and has more nutty and yeasty aromas than the usual Tio Pepe and on the palate it is fresh and citrusy, with a complex, saline finish. A truly gastronomic wine it pairs perfectly with olives, almonds, oily fish and tapas.

Bringing together the vine, the winemaking, ageing in cask  beneath a dense veil of flor and the terroir of Jerez, the Tio Pepe En Rama 2019  is the 10th release and is the definition of perfect harmony in a wine, according to Master Blender Antonio Flores.

Selected from 67 casks in the González Byass cellars of La Constancia, in the heart of Jerez, Spain. The 2019 Tio Pepe En Rama has a particularly concentrated and elegant character due to a slightly cooler year than 2018.

The 2019 edition is bright and golden in colour, powerful and fragrant on the nose with aromas reminiscent of bread making and fresh yeast. Notes of citrus peel are balanced with a complex salinity, creating an expressive and fragrant Tio Pepe en rama.

Each year a different, yet authentic label is chosen, the design based on original artwork sourced from Tio Pepe’s historical archives, dating back to the late 1800’s.
